as far as how the OME will last...I have had mine off road a time or two  and with over well almost 70,000 miles now OME Heavy Duty springs and Rancho struts in front not one problem. Have had to get it aligned one time, which is normal and then again when I installed the JBA Gen. 4.5 arms 1500 miles ago.
I also have a ARB bumper hanging off the front so I don't think you can get better unless you go for a Frankenlift

X2... Last weekends Big Bear Crawl was not kind to my front suspension. I'm running a Frankenlift (OME springs, with pucks, and Rancho Struts). Climbing one of the obstacles I thought I had killed my struts. After inspection, it turns out I actually shredded the upper poly spring spacer. All J's is replacing it tomorrow (thanks again Heather and Quinn). If the Poly will go before the strut, I wouldn't worry about OME or a Front Frankenlift killing the struts.

On a scale of 1 to 10 i give my OME set-up a 12.
No hard core offroading, YET (Just got my sliders from marty last week and in the middle of a HUGE kitchen re-do so not paited or installed yet, and still waiting on the availablity of some extended brake lines for the 07 booty end) but I do plan to trail it asafp.

I have the stock UCAs and the HD springs with OME shocks x4. LOVE EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
