Thanks to tjkj2002 taking the time to measure his tensioner I knew the pulley was 3 1/2" on his and worked even though it was closer to harmonic balancer. I picked one up at Advance last nite and installed this morning, took about 1/2 hr. Success so far NO NOISE!!!!!!!!! When a/c compressor comes on it moves smoother as well. Thanks again tjkj2002 and I suggest if anyone has clicking they don't get another tensioner from the Dealer!

Would you suggest this changeout for squeeling also? You speek of cliking, but I'm getting one hell of a squeel
with the a/c on.I'd rather replace something myself than make a bunch of trips to the dealership, even with warranty.

Sounds like either a glazed belt or the A/C compressor clutch is to blame for a squeeling. To see if it is the belt spray a little PB Blaster on the serp belt while the engine is running, not to much just a quick spray. If the squeeling stops or lessons it's your belt.Do not use belt dressing on a serp belt, belt dressing is only for "V" belts.

Here's the deal.It was squeeling for about a month gradually getting louder.
I changed the belt, and that didn't do it.It did need to be replaced.
Next,I dropped it off, telling the guy that the A/C clutch is going out.He calls me later in the day telling me
they found the tensioner had gone bad. They swapped it. Helped for a week.
Back to riding with the air off...Hate that squeel.

Think these guys are trying to weasel out of something.Or does a bad tensioner squeal?

Never had a squeal, just the clicking with all 5 OEM tensioners. This Dayco aftermarket tensioner got rid of the clicking. Usually squealing is the belt.
