Yeah and did you see that it will most likely not effect the price of gas since we are no longer using that much, demand has dropped dramaticaly.

Oh and gas went down a few cents here, like it matters since I only put about 4 gallons of gas in my KJ a week anyways.

Saudi Arabia has walked out of that OPEC meeting ...

Contract prices on light crude has been steadily dropping since peak in Jul/13.

Dollar index has been rising steadily since Jul/13 as well ...

I am so freaking sick and tired of the stupid excuesses of oil the last 3 years.

Pretty soon they will say, well tomorrow it will be sunny and high 80's and we will need to raise the price of gas because it is a nice day.

Since when was the weather such a concern on the oil?
I remember YEARS ago we woud get these same storms and it would NEVER effect the price of gas.

They are just looking for a reason to SQUEEEEZ more money out of our all ready empty wallets.......

In the Toronto area they warned us last night that it was going up 12.9 cents per liter (almost 49 cents per gallon) overnight, and it did.

I filled up 2 vehicles, about 120 liters (approx 32 gal) - as luck would have it they were both empty, for $1.21 and this morning most places are around $1.34.

We have a member of provincial parliament in Ontario who is the "industry watchdog" for the oil industry, and somehow he always knows exactly when the price will change and how much.

http://www.mcteague.ca/WebPages/gas_price_today.htm

Comes in handy sometimes, especially last night when I saved $15.48!

Dave

Gas prices have been on a slow decline in my area for the past few months. The highest I recall seeing it was about 4.29 a gallon and now the lowest is at 3.39 a gallon. It just shows how over-inflated those prices really were a few months ago if it can drop nearly a dollar per gallon and the gas stations can still make a profit.

MOBIL $3.69 <---- Sells GOOD BEER! Newcastle, Bass ale and Harp
SICK-O $3.71 <---- Would not even PEE in the parking lot

Well, it didn't go up much here. Just a few cents and a 10Gal limit. The stations tonight are swamped though.

Gas went from $3.67 on Tuesday to $3.87 this morning and now it's $4.09.

We need to start drilling anywhere and everywhere we can so that we can stop buying from foreign countries. If politicians are afraid or unwilling to start drilling then we need to get rid of them and get the one's in that has the brains enough to see we need to do something and do it now. Enough talking and studies, it's time for action!

Yeah well a year or two ago there was another email going around that stated something like 85% of oil drilled by BP Amoco comes from either The North Atlantic or North America, and that we should all buy our gas from them.

Funny thing though, BP Amoco plays the same "scam-price-at-the-pump-game", as everyone else.

Maybe it's time for another American revolution. I'm just sayin'.

We could find all the oil we would ever need and it wouldn't help. Our refineries are out dated and to few to handle that kind of increase. Another thing to look at is one storm in the whole country stopped ALL gasoline production. It's too centralized.

agree with you Terry, This isn't an oil issue it's a refinery issue. 95% of the refineries in the Galveston area are completely shut down so no gas is being made. BTW, $3.35 last night, $3.69 tonight and the EXXON/Mobil station had no gas at all all day. No trucks coming in I guess.

Agree. 30+ years ago when Carter was in office we knew there was a problem, but this Country is to slow at fixing things. We like to talk about it, study it, talk some more, but we never do anything to fix the problem. We need to build new refineries, and start drilling and quit trying to 'wait it out' and see if the problem fixes itself. If we did this the first time we had a problem we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.

Gas is down to what? $100.00 a barrel? and they are still charging us the same as they were a month ago when it it a all time high of $140.00...Whats wrong with this picture? As far as stoms making dramatic impact is a crock of $&*#! Like someone already mentioned it's just the oil companies trying to get as much as theycan and politics! I live in a oil city and we are shipping hundreds of thousands of barrles a day to the USA via pipeline and yet we still pay some of the highest fuel prices here!! Make sense?...no. My 2 cents on this scam.

$4.48 here today so far. Was $4.09 when I went to bed. Might hit the 5.00 mark by the end of tomorrow the rate it's going.

We went from 1.21 on Friday to to 1.34 on Saturday to 1.37 today, or about $4.30 USD per gallon.

Our man says $1.38 tomorrow.
