Put my 4 cell back here. Easy to get to when needed. Probably going to put a 3 cell on the drivers and passenger seats at some point. We seem to be doing a lot of night geocaching now that the days are shorter!

...hate to get started on CHEAP LED flashlights....there are MUCH brighter ones out there for the about the same price as the TLE-300. The other one mentioned only uses a P4 LED...the newer P7 LED is WAAAAYY brighter, several times. I doubt it will be available as a drop in for Mag or Streamlights very soon though.

Heck, even the multi-Q5 LED flashlights outshine my Streamlight Ultra Stinger.

Here's an example on Ebay:

...and:
http://cgi.ebay.com/UltraFire-700L-3x-CREE-WC-Q5-LED-700-Lumens-Flashlight_W0QQitemZ280274579762QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280274579762&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A3%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

...unfortunately, most LED stuff, even for Mag and Streamlight, is foreign made these days. Sad, but true.

You can use tactical lights instead of led.
I'm using led flashlights and I'm happy for its service.

mount brackets on the ceiling right above your head. Feel for the "bump" that runs perpendicular to the length of the vehicle, this is a hollow cross member you can drill right into with self tappers. I've got my maglite and speargun mounted on the ceiling, ideal. If adding pics weren't such a PITA I would...
