I used Fram (gasp) for years on everything and no problem but now it's been just a real long time since I used one.

I got into a habit of using Motorcraft filters on a Ford and AC Delco on all GM stuff............ So then when the KJ came along I started useing the Mopar filter on it. So the KJ will keep getting Mopar filters at least until the 7/70 is over. So I am probably the only one here running the black Mopar filter that doesn't let the dealer do it.

The only filter related issue I ever had was when I was in a hurry once and the filter gasket didn't come off with the old filter and I just spun the new one on and it promptly spat at me when I checked for leaks. (an old habit-I always check for leaks)
