On the 07....it is on the valve cover just beneath the coolant overflow reservoir.

Yeah, I found where it was under the hood a while back. But I can't seem to find a replacement one anywhere except for the dealer. They want $19 for one. Seems pretty steep for a PCV valve. And when the dealer looked it up in his system, it gave the wrong one for the 07. It showed the elbow shaped one that goes on the oil filler tube. I had him look up the one for the 08 KK and it is the right one. Just wondering if anyone else has replaced it, and if they found it anywhere but at the dealer...

Got it. The red-ish colored plastic thing on the driver's side back close to the fire wall. Looks like I will have to go back to parts store and ask for 08-09 Liberty PCV since even the Jeep Parts fiche shows the same one as the all of the other KJs.

How did you actually remove the PCV valve? I tried doing it last night, but I thought I was going to break it. Does the rubber boot just pull right off? Or do you need to loosen the red nut first? Thanks for your help.

The hose on my PCV was really hard to get off the first time too. But it finally did release. Try warming it up some. I pulled mine in July, so the rubber was a lot more flexible than it would be in January.

Just bumping this up because I found it useful to reference the pics for my 2008. Changing the PCV took me about 15 min, and it seems like the Jeep idles better now.

How many miles do you have on your 2008?
