Just send me money every week, I will keep it for you and buy parts as you have the money. Then when I have everything you need we can install it all and you will have a killer rig. Trust me I can find some deals over time and I only charge a 1000 bucks for my time to do all of this for you. Cheaper in the long run than any other way you go!

No job then save your money, what you have needs to be used to look for work, not Jeep parts or going out to eat. Too many people spend their money foolishly on things they do not need right then. Save up get a job and then build a Jeep the right way when you can afford it. Too many want to rush in and do it on the cheap only to spend more later. Good luck on the job hunt!

I think the tranny skid is a good start.

Save the other $100.00 for gas / food money though.

You'll be wanting to drive all over with a new part installed.

i have this addiction to buying crap for my truck. it all started last year on an exploratory trip to the badlands. i've spent almost 4 grand in the last year on my jeep. when i get my next job i'll save up for new springs then i'll get a locker. are the ome springs on the jba website the same ones from the frankenlift??

They're the same. If I could go back and do it again, I would just get the OME springs and some shocks instead of the frankenlift. I would probably get the medium duty springs as well because I think it's going to be a while before I get the ARB bumper. I'm sitting a little higher than I want in the front with the HD coils.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.. You are making progress.

The next step is half a dozen of us or so dousing you with used gear oil until you come to your senses and start dong things in the proper order (job, food, then mods).

Next step is lockers , upgraded suspension and things like that.

BUT

Now seeing that I am old enough to be your Father, heres what I would tell my son
put the money back for things you really need to survive. Who knows you may get a job tomorrow that needs you to dress a certain way so you will need money for that. You have the rest of your life to build a dream 4X4 and do it right instead of doing it on the cheap and having problems. Don't blow your money and then have to borrow off of others just to live day to day. When you get a job , then come back and we'll help you get over the next step.

Very easy for us to say, especially those of us with all our crap on our KJ's, But I have to agree. Save it, wait till you have more money. Hell you might need it for ammunition the way things are going.

Wait to see what "Our Savior" does to the economy before spending a bunch of money.
