If you do decide to adjust the tailgate latch catch loop thingie, be prepared for an hour of trial and error to get it to close right. I must have moved mine, opened and closed the door about 50 times before I was just satisfied to have it back the way it was before I messed with it... :lol:

it is the loopy thing... i just put some electrical tape on it to see if that will fix it.
