I have the 545RFE in my Ram 2500HD and it does not do anything like that...

Maybe I should of added this in my first post, this isnt an issue.. Its just how life is with Chrysler transmissions.

I cant remember if our 545rfe does this johnb but its usually warm since its in a garage. I know the 45rfe and the 42rle we have do it but only when cold. They pop right in when the trannies are warm or its warm outside.

The 42RE(ZJ) and the AW4(XJ) we have do NOT do this.
