TOP SPEED

I hit 50 in the Willy's once... not even at the speed limit and thought I was going to die.

very true, my parents had a willys that had this wierd foot crank to start it. "death trap over 35" im pretty sure ours never got as fast as 50

The fastest I've ever gone in the KJ is 110. Pretty much held it from Kingman, AZ to Hoover Dam. I know I've come close to that speed in & around that a few times, but that's the one that sticks out the most.

Have done 120+ on my crotch rocket before it met its end at the hands of a Ford F150 (only 40mph at the time of collision). I've gone well over 100 in other vehicles.

That was several years ago & I don't go past 75 on the freeway most times anymore.

95mph 2006 KJ Sport, it could have kept going but like others have said it took way to long to get up to that speed so I slowed down
160mph+ in 1998 Camaro SS on a back country road in NC I really don't know how fast we were going as the speedometer stopped at 150 and he kept accelerating for at least another ten seconds.

anything over 80ish is not fun for me in the jeep. So I dont know why people are doing triple digit speeds in theirs..

207kph/129.375 MPH when the engine shut off from being 200 rpms over the redline. Back in 2008 on the autobahn. I have a bad photo of the GPS somewhere. I regularly cruised the CRD between 100-115mph on the autobahn.

2000 Audi S3 tuned, 270kph/168.75mph in the rain between Koln and Bonn Germany on Autobahn 61 for about 15 minutes till traffic showed up.

BTW top speed in a straight line is bland, when you can hold double the speed limit in the curves is where the fun is. I miss Germany so much.

my brothers boss modified the srt8 with something, il lget the iformation..but he brought it to a track in wisc. and got it up to 175

93 Laser RST 140 then the motor went POP! oops!
edit: 92mph in my 87 Omni... scariest ever! worse than the cherokee at 90. i really thought i was gonna die!!! ha.
