No problem... Vent all you want. I'm a good listener. I even have this knack for seeing other points of view and understanding them even if I don't agree with them. I just want to clarify that I understand where you are coming from.

I'm gonna share my point of view...

I would loan my KJ out to people *my ex to name one* and I would get it back with the light on and no clue how long it had been there. It even got so low once that it almost died on me getting off the freeway *going to get gas*. I just happened to be in the city where I worked and decided to ask a unit to come push me down the road to the gas station instead of running the KJ dry and becoming very upset.

My ex was taught to drive until the light comes on and then look for a gas station. The only problem is that our house was about between 15 & 20 miles away from the closest gas station and she would drive home from work *about 40 miles away* then ask me to go put gas in her car.

So that is why I don't let my tank get below half if I can avoid it.

Went to Key west from Atlanta and fallowed the wife in here 05 unlimited
the Liberty got 18 mpg I have a lift and 265/75 on it she is stock and got 19 mpg going down at 70 but coming back I got 16 and did 65 she still got 19 following me.
The difference was I had a heavy load in the Liberty
she had just her sister and my Daughter. We had me and her sisters husband and the back had all the luggage and stuff for the week.
I though 16 was good for us.

See, if the trip computer was accurate, the Distance to Empty would tell you EXACTLY how much was left, regardless of how long the light was on.
