May be this is a very dumb question but, can i use the method of taking the injector connector out (so not fuel is injected), sparkplug out on one cylinder and use an adaptor with the spark plug thread to fill up my tires? i know it only can work on a gas motor and not my CRD, but this need to have good pressure.

?
What?
you want to use your engine to fill your tires? please dont try this, the term im guessing you got the idea from was "air pump" from above? this was used to describe what the engine would be doing not what it can be changed to. It would never give you enough pressure to do this... just a bad idea.

The problem with just unplugging injectors and cutting out the spark is still going to be that it is not going to run correctly period. there is a firing order that has to be maintained and without the ability to alter it you are not going to be able to get the engine to run smoothly... thus never being able to gain the fuel economy without the severe loss of power. My suggestion (and this is just me) would be to deal with the fact that the liberty sucks gas like it was born in 1972 and just wait until jeep offers a liberty with mds. lol if you really want a 4x4 that gets good mileage, buy a samurai.

I do have to give you kudos for putting the thought into it though. I'm all about promoting intelligent thought. keep up the good work.
