If someone gets pulled over for doing something wrong they usually know they are doing something they shouldn't be doing. So, why complain. Speeding is the best example. You know you are going to fast. Save yourself the hassel and just obey the laws. If you don't think the law is fair, work to change it. Just don't ignore the law because you don't like it. I have been driving for 44 years and have had one speeding ticket. I deserved it, I was doing 55 in a 45 zone.

I used to flash my highbeams to people when I knew a speed trap was in the area. I don't anymore for the simple reason you stated above. In many cases when a cop pulls somebody over for speeding it turns out that that was not the ONLY thing they were doing wrong. The police have a witch of a job to do and dealing with "innocent" people who just happen to be speeding is just a perk. If a cop pulls a guy over who was speeding or some other traffic violation and it turns out that they were in possesion of other items or committing another more major crime and that traffic stop got them off the road in in the big house, then great, Let them do their jobs.
You do yours and not give them a reason to pull you over and piss in your wheaties.
