Door Handles

If you did it right you could drill the hole so the head sat flush, and then the threads threaded into the plastic handle.

I just remembered I have some 1/4 diameter spikes left over from the last bike build, maybe install them in the door handles :lol:

Fulltimer can you post pics from a greater distance with both side handles showing? Still trying to decide on what im going to do.

nothing to mess up, I just laid tape on mine, marked the holes, drilled a 1/8 inch starter hole and increased the size up to 1/2 inch
MAN UP and get that drill out :wink:

but the holes are totaly off, front door last hole is too low and rear door the entire line up is too high, too bad you only get one shot

otherwise it looks ok. did you take them off, I would have measured twice and drilled three times working my way up to the final 3/8 with the handles off the KJ on a drill press and a press vise...I I was to do it that is...

Yeah, they look off. The driver is angled down from left to right and so is the passenger, but the first hole seems lower on the passenger.

Bummer.

off topic and maybe solen thread, but i just passed a 7mm Kidney stone 2 weeks ago, so i know what you're going through TOM. that sh*t hurts. reason why i havent done anything to my KJ in a while.
