$5.00 Gas On 9/12

$4.19 today, up from $3.89 yesterday. :evil:

I posted too soon. Went by the gas station today and it's jumped up $.14 in the last two days to $3.49 a gallon. That better be temporary. :evil:

I was enjoying the declining prices.

Still at $3.57 hasn't changed yet, but I filled up today as I am sure this price will change soon.

no increase today. I guess a $.34 hike in one day was enough gouging. Got to give us a chance to forget it before they do it again on Sunday when we are all distracted by the NFL .

local record down here was 3.28 on base. that was like 3 weeks ago now its at 3.69. as long as it dosent get to 4.00 i will be fine. i wonder what will it be when i comeback.

A neighbor of mine just came back from Tallahassee where he paid $5.00/gal for regular. I wonder how long it will take to get gas back in the system.

I haven't seen much over 4.00 here in Jeep town, couple maybe at 4.06 most all 3.99/3.98 right now

It's funny how stations around here get tankers in like twice a week but they raise the price 2 to 3 times a day because 'That's what they paided for the gas'. Give me a break, it's called price gouging! Around here they say that they do not do price matching, but my daughter use to work for a (Major Retailers) gas staion here and they would send her down the main drag to get prices from 3 to 4 of the other stations twice a day so that they could 'adjust' their price. I'm pretty sure that's price matching.

here in the gulf coast area where we were mildly effected by ike ( 5 foot storm surge).

topped off due to the topic on here, at 7 am for 3.59 on 7-12 at 4pm same station was at 4.08.

Many places either shut down due to no gas, or sold all grades for same price.

3.53 here in northen MD. when i left for IRAQ in April of 07 it was 2.70, and wheni got back it was 3.79 :shock:

Around a week ago it was $3.50 here.. Now its back up to $3.99.. Going to walk to classes for a week and see if it goes back down. If it doesnt Ill wait about a month to get any gas.
