Think about it; Primedia owns both magazines, one bashes Kjs, one doesn't. People cancel one and subscribe to the other or vice versa. No matter what, Primedia makes out.

Not to offence any american here.
But the rest of the world knows that there a little probrem of media concentration in usa.
We got law agains that, here in Québec, but even with the law, we see the media concentration become bigger year after year.
Which is never be a good thing for any democratie.
I'm not gonna say more, the subjet is to deep and serious and my english is not good enought to talk about that.
it's related to politic, so this is not the place to talk about that.

I'd put a stock KJ up against a stock Wrangler any day. I think we should do an official test. Find a third party, unbiased driver, a Hummer owner would do because they would already have it in their head that both vehicles are inferior to his Hummer. Put them through the same course and see what happens. I don't recall hearing anyone with a stock Wrangler challenging a stock Liberty.

Of course the Wrangler has a SFA, but I don't see that as a huge off-road advantage. 2005 models are both available with 2.4L engines, 6 speed manual transmissions. The Wrangler has a Dana 35 rear axle (3.73) vs. the Liberty's Corporate 8.25 (3.55). The Liberty comes with 16 inch wheels while the Wranger has 15 inch wheels. To make them as similar as possible add full metal doors and air conditiong to the Wrangler. The Wrangler is $1900 cheaper, add a hard top for about $1000 and you're left with a $900 difference. So who wants to front the $40,000 to buy these two vehicles and test them.

I've see plenty of teenage girls driving Wrangler's because they want a convertible and an SUV at the same time. And the furthest off road they get is when they drive over a curb at the mall because they're talking on their cell phone instead of driving.
