Wait....you park that close to the cart return?????

That's the safest place to park because people are too lazy to take their empty shopping cart to the return stand.....even watched people parked next to it too lazy to push it there.

When we were in Canada this summer you had to put a Canadian dollar coin into a device attached to the shopping cart to release it. The dollar stayed in the cart until you returned it. When you pushed the key that was released back into the device that was on the cart to lock it back into place you got your dollar back. Guess what? There were no carts wandering around free in the parking lot.

That's a sweet idea but not many people carry dollar coins here. Sure would make them popular again.

Tom, are the police following up on the security video?

They do that at all of the Aldi supermarkets here now. Except it is just a Quarter.

Sorry to hear about this, that would make me want to get out the crowbar and get agro on his booty! I hope you didn't have your home address in the GPS. For reasons like this I always keep a general location for my home address.

This is ugly but expect to see the criminal activity going up since more peaple loose job every days. They just try to survive, but I dont think they will risk to get in jail for a GPS!

Broken glass in a parking lot is the signature of a young "Mother flower" drug addicted piece of stinky poo! I will not bet my balls on it but I will not be suprise you find this A$$hole walking arround in the same parking looking for is next catch...

Sorry you have to learn the hard way with that one Tom :banghead:

Police finally called me yesterday
Asked a few questions, time, place , what was stolen, had I gotten my window repaired yet?
Then he said " Well seems like everything is OK, we'll close the book on this one. Have a great day!"
and hung up :banghead:

Sorry to hear and see that happened too you. Happened to me several times in other cars.

Theives suck for sure and it usually what they steal costs less than the cost of repairing the damage they do to get it.

If you are intrested I have a Navagon GPS unit I got 2 years ago and have not used in over a year since my Jeep has built in NAV. I'm sure I can sell it to you cheaper than new. last map update was december 2008. PM if intrested
