A Liberty is relatively small and nimble, with a tight turning radius, they fit into parking spaces easily. This is the best part, I live in NYC, you can't imagine how many times I had to parallel park and squeeeeeeze into a spot.

I've driven my Liberty through 18-19 inches of snow while on my way home from work during a blizzard here in Western NC two years ago... We had a blizzard in Dec 2010, Pretty much all of the Northeast was shut down. Buses, trains, planes, everything. My buddy had to get from NYC to Boston for work in the morning, I drove him there, I did not get stuck once.

You've already found a great resource for information on Liberties... So VERY true.

"Be your own person, everyone else is already taken...." This right here should be something to live by for the rest of your life

"this isnt nearly as nice as a Ferrari!" lol. classic. This is so true, everyone has an opinion, you can't please anyone except yourself

Just buy what you want kid...it'll all work out. stop trying to impress others and live for yourself and you will save alot of frustration and be much happier.

Look if your second guessing yourself buying a KJ/KK then I would think you wont be 100% happy. I remember loving every second with my KJ and proudly (even when bone stock) driving it all around town and Im a grown man in my late 20s. Did some people probably snicker at me? Sure, did I care? Not one bit. Moral is you have to be comfortable with YOU being happy and let all that other crap roll off your back.
Again, VERY true.

You see this very often in life as well. Even from adults

Moral of the story;
LIVE YOUR LIFE HOW YOU WANT TO.
Whether it has to do with something as minuscule as what kind of car you drive, or what your beliefs are in life. Do what you want.

Ok, I'm done, lol. Enjoy.

I caught some flak from my friends when I got the KJ as well. Well after two hunting seasons in a completely stock KJ, they aren't laughing anymore. It's nimble and gets around great in the woods. Yeah, it's an IFS rig, but it works better than any of there IFS rigs do. Plus with decnet power, a proven transfer case, pretty decent aftermarket support honestly, you can't go wrong. Look at it this way. If you want 4 doors, the limited's are way over priced and who really wants to scratch up a grand cherokee?! I drive an old motorcycle that people ragged on me for too. But you know what? It's fun stomping cruiser's with a 32 year old KZ1000 too! So drive what makes you happy!

Well I then drive two "girls cars" The Liberty and a VW Beetle. But I like them and that's what they are for. As for the Beetle, you can't kick 47 mpg driving it hard.
