I am gonna do a mock up connection for an evic to see if it works before I do all the cutting. I am using the instructions in the how to. everything looks straight forward. I am probably look right at and it's just not clicking. thanks.

I believe it's the ORBII connector or whatever it's called. The wires are slighty off color to what it says in the how to directions but I believe that's what they are. I just need to go to tool store and by an external torx set so I can pull the driver side pillar. This drove me nuts. It's not 1/4 nor 3/16. It's not 6 mm or 7mm. What sort of bolt/screw head will they come up with next...

I think i used a 7/32 attachment, which i had to get a sears. Since i've never found any other use for it, it now sits in the KJ with some other tools i carry.

btw, in case you didn't find the answer yet, the connector you're looking for is under the driver side dash on the right side. It's recessed back a few inches from being flush with the front ot the dash.

I bought a 7/32 deep socket and it worked but the nut isn't in very tight so a deep socket 5.5 would work...so...is it SAE or metric? HHMMMM

either works my guess is that it's metric. I am gonna take some pics of the install showing the wiring color...it's a little different in the 05 and how the special order evic bracket goes in...too bad it won't be in tell next week!
