anyone else tried the new dupont tire pen? i got the non owl goodyear mt/r's cuz i dont like the white... i do however like the yellow goodyears on the nascar circuit.

lemme know whatcha think. it took kerry and i about three hours to do one coat on one side and two coats on the other. the pic below is a tire with two coats.

it looks pretty effin sweet if you ask me, but they are on my jeep :shock:

Is that permenant? I don't like my OWL either. What other colors does it come in? Link?

its permanent, yes... the only colors that i saw in advance auto parts were yellow and red..

you can take if off with acetone, but you really have to scrub hard.

we messed up a couple of times and had to use some serious elbow grease to get it off.

$7 per pen, but you get one full coat for each wheel and a second coat for two wheels out of one pen...

Whatever floats your boat.....turns your crank.......blows your skirt up......etc, etc. If I had to chose between white and yellow though I think I would go for the yellow. :wink:
