I just completed a 12 move from pineville,la to san angelo,tx. The liberty was responsible for ferrying the greyhound, parrot, and cat. The greyhound/parrot made the trip without a hitch. The cat was another story! Somehow he escaped the crate and took up residence under the passanger's seat. Apparently nature called and the darn cat peed all over the carpet |

Go to a very good vet. They will have an organic deodorizer. I have traveled to Ohio and back (Colorado) and once from Texas to Ohio while taking my cat along. I have taken him to Moab twice. Never had problems. I take a litter box but he refuses to use it when I let him out of his carrier. The last time I drove to Ohio, I let him roam around and had the litter box handy. He used it but he hit the edges and some leaked out (rough driving). Luckily, I had garbage bags and papertowels underneath the litter box so no cat urine got on the carpet. |

Yep, OdoBan work great. We have a downstairs bathroom with carpet. Our little one misses and the wife sprays that stuff and you dont smell the pee. FYI... also works good on seats and carpets when kids get sick in the car. Not car sick, stomic flu or something. That stuff is about the best we have found. Good Look. |

Get rid of the cat? Odoban works, and so does Odorcide. |

I friggin' hate cats! Never want another one after our current animal. The cat is psychotic. She's been on antipsychotic drugs and under the care of an animal psychologist, and she still sprays the baseboards. She did this in the last two houses, and has cost us about $5000 in carpet. Because my wife doesn't want to part with the cat or euthanize her, she (the cat) now is confined to our finished half-basement. My wife and I worked out an agreement, but she hasn't made good on her end of the deal Now that the spraying has stopped, the cat has stated pooping in the basement -- about four times this week, and that's where my video-editing workstation is located! Bringing that stray cat home was the worst decision I ever made. After all I've done and spent to keep this cat, I think I'm entitled to a Frankenlift or Rockfather. It's much cheaper than carpeting. |

Try Natures Miracle. We have been raising puppies for the past 4 years we've lived in our home, and there is no pee odor to be found anywhere. Dogs will pee on a spot where they smell pee, so they think that is the proper place to go, or they want to mark over another dogs scent. We've watched the dogs sniff right over another "pee spot" without even hesitating. In other words, the DOG didn't even smell it. Natures miracle is actually a natural enzyme that doesn't cover the odor but actually eliminates it! I know this sounds like a commercial, but I've been using it for 4 years now and IT WORKS AWESOME! You can most likely find it in a hardware store or supermarket for less than at a pet store. The stuff is a bit more expensive than others , but it is worth it. It's the only thing my wife and I use now. |
