I calibrated up my lightbar as per the instructions (front bumper 25 feet from a wall, center of the light from bar ~ 8 feet off the ground), but it seems rather high. When pointing down a street I mostly illuminate the trees. How do those of you with a lightbar have it set? |

How do those of you with a lightbar have it set? It's an offroad lightbar, I don't think you're supposed to use it on the street |

There are four holes on the back of the bar that you stick a torx driver into and adjust one way to go higher and the other of lower. Since I drive on twisty roads in the Santa Cruz mountains, I have my set lower so they begin where my high beams end. |

thats what i was thinking about doing... how low can they actually be set? illuminating the treetops is too high for my taste but how low is 'too low'? |

I bought a set of torx drivers that are in a pocket knife setup so I could change things on the fly. Just find a stretch of road that you can test on and play with the settings until you get what you like. |

My stock ones are adjusted so they basically eliminate the need for my high beams (no diff when I turn the HBs on) and illuminate a little further down the road. (or down the runway at work!) |

looks nice man. I did mine lastweekend and it took me about 3 hours to do it from strat to the last RVT sealent bead. I have my lights pointing more upwards then my HB's. I will post pics. I did not take any while doing the job because I was too busy trying to get it done correctly. |
