Is there a cheap alternative for replacing an outer boot band that doesn't involve buying a $30 to $40 special tool to put it on with and removing the axle? Would a screw type steel band clamp work? |

I guess the screw type would work, but idk how well balanced it would be. Those things spin purty fast and may cause some vibrations and could hurt the bearings in the front axle. |
