| Post subject: | Ambient Temperature Sensor for evic question |
How does one tell if you have one? I have exactly the same set up as in the tech sections evic install. But it seems unclear. The pics look like just the harness. What's the actual sensor look like? I messed with it (harness?) a bit I am not sure if the sensor is there already. My evic (self installed from 04 GC) displays "--" for the temp. I have been told that I won't get the temp reading unless I get an evic from an 04 and newer libby (hard to find one used!) My buddy (ford mechanic who I think is just BS-ing half the time) says it should work. Thanks for your help. |

Ive read the same thing. Are you sure its an 04 and newer? Or is it 05+? Ive also read that you need to replace the sensor when you put an evic in. Not to sure if that one is true or not. All libbys have them. They are infront of the A/C condenser. |
