Am I the only one who dislikes the compass ad campaign? The latest issue of Car and Driver has these urban bobble heads pitching the latest jeep. I think this marketing campaign will be as effective on the youth as the scion ads from a year ago. Thoughts?? |

I just saw a Compass commercial on TV and their using the bobble heads on it also. |

i was trying to convice my g/f into looking at the compass to replace her aging subaru awd wagon....its as close to a jeep as i'd ever get her. She saw the commercial and i was the end of that. |

Oh come on man you can't hate on the subaru!! Those things last forever ( minus the body) if you just change the oil. We used to buy the old 85-89 wagons and beat the snot outta them in the mountains. They are mean as hell!!! it is like a big sled underneath too considering the only thing you can hurt is the exhaust and who needs one of them on a beater! haha |

Her subaru has grown on me; still runs well after 8 years and i've never driven a car that's handled better in bad conditions. Could use a fresh coat of paint tho. i'm pretty sure we are a part of the target market for the compass (20 somethings) and neither of us were exactly impressed by the commercial. |
