| Post subject: | Spare Tire Relocation |
Hey, I've located my issue with rattling to be the spare tire. i think the weight of the tire combined with washboard roads took its toll. Anyway, for those of you who have relocated your spare tire to the roof, what setup are you using? Also, what are your thoughts about the new Rock Lizard rear bumper with the tire carrier? I'm just doing my research and dont' plan on doing this very soon, since I'm ordering my rockrails next Friday I think |

What's loose on/in the rear door? Couldn't you just get pieces to replace? Or have a machine shop fab something to help brace (if that's the problem) something? Unless you're just saying that to your wife you so you can buy a cool aftermarket accessory!! |

My tire is on the roof. I used the Surco roof rack and there mounting system for it. |

I have a Garvin Wilderness rack, and a custom one off tire mount attached to it (built by a former LOST member from Texas... I will be getting rid of it soon, as I will have Rock Lizard's spare tire carrier on my Rock Lizard Bumper... |
