Well, I did it. I just ordered a set of Rubicon wheels from All-J yesterday. Very good price, and should be here before next weekend. When I have my BFG AT's mounted on them should I go with blackwall or white letters out? We have the blackwalls out now, but the white letters look good too. What do you think? |

I definitely prefer white letters out. When I first got my kj, the blackwalls were out (the stock sr-a's) and one day I had them turned to face the white letters out and they looked 10 times better. Right now I have Firestone Destination MTs and they look great with white letters out, but its all up to what you think looks best. |

Black out. The white letters don't hold up too well on the rocks and you end up w/ white walls. |

I'm a black side out man myself. White walls and lettering are for show cars and low riders. Jason |

1 more vote for black walls out. White letters are for race cars. |

if you're taking it off road, gotta be black out. The white letters really fall apart and look like heck in a short time of off roading. |

I put the white letters out. It looks pretty good, and when they get torn up people can tell you actually wheel! |

While yes it is personal prefference, I also believe this to be a regional thing. Some areas of the country white letters out is the norm. Here in AZ the only white letters out you see came from the factory that way! |

White letters out right now, but I like the look of blackwalls too. White Letters look great when rolling... but are hard to keep clean. They have to be washed close to 2 times a week to stay white. |

I'm leaving white letters facing out so the guys in their mini-monster truck pickups can get a good look and ID the tires. And they do look a lot, probably because they're not used to seeing KJs look like anything more than mall cruisers. I've received several complements on the looks of my KJ in the three months I've been driving on these tires. Anything that garners respect for the KJ is a good thing, IMO. T.J. |
