I know what your talking about. I did read something about that open area. on the 03 KJ's it was ment for something, but I can not F*&King remember rite now. It does have power for it. it either had something to do with the optional towing package or the block heather. I am not 100% on this I will look it up for you later. |

If its on the inside fuse block, its for the Daytime running lights on Canadian models. |

If you could find the right pin with power on it. Im not sure how many amps it could handle or where the power even comes from. It may come out of the BCM and it would not be a good idea to pull power through that thing. Just be careful with electrical stuff, you can mess alot of stuff just really fast. |

Iv see that as well but could not work out in the 5 min i spent trying to how or what turns that relay on/off and it leads to? I was thinking of use it to run my KC daylites off of it because it said Daytime running lights on it. So my question is what are Daytime running lights |

Daytime running lights mean just the headlights are on all the time. |

But at a lower electrical pull. In fact I thought they were dimmer than if you had just turned on your lights. |

Here's the Canadian fuse block:
Also, the DRLs don't actually come on until you release the e-brake. |

From what I read in other posts, not only do you need the relay but the BCM has to be flashed over to "Canadian" to get the DRLs to work. |
