The seats in our 03 Sport are horrible, for some reason the passenger is worse than the drivers as far as comfort goes making driving nicer than ridding.

We have an 03 PT cruiser and while looking at the seats they appear to have the same mounting dimensions where the seat bolts to the track, the PT isn't that great either but is far better than the Libby so I began to think...do you suppose DC would use a common bolt pattern across several of their lines making a wrecking yard swap a good avenue?

Like maybe some Sebring Buckets or even a 300?????? heck I would do PT seats for the right price. Maybe Dr. Z would know.

I have a friend in Vegas who's dad helped him install Camaro buckets in a Toyota 4x4 pickup. If that crap works, then I think your idea would be no sweat.

I also agree with you. I recently made two decently long road trips and the seats are not comfortable for long hauls........

Good luck!

Has anyone put any aftermarket seats in their liberty? Just wondering if it is hard to do or not.

I would like to hear on this too. One thing I don't like about aftermarket seats is how many are shaped requiring you to get up over the edge and then down into. Horrible to get out of the vehicle.

Isn't there a sensor in the passenger seat for the airbag that would make it harder to replace the seats?

Well. Not sure about other models.. But my 06 has a weight sensor in it.. It detects the weight of the person and determines the amount of force is needed to deploy the passenger airbag...

Couldn't you just take the sensor(s) out of the old seat(s) and place it in the new one? Doesn't look like it would be too difficult.
