kj pwr windows suprise to me..

just yesterday in our new o6 rene found another suprise in the kj.

if your sitting in the kj & shut off the engine. the power windows will still work
until you a door. :wink:

how nice not to have to shove the key back into the ignition to set the windows.

same here in my 03, cause my last car did it and i was used to it. There is a way to do it, but it involves crossing the window regulator fuse and another fuse that has power even when the key isn't in the switch (external light, internal lights, maybe even the cig lighter)

I guess they started that in 04. It goes off after like a minute though. If only they stayed on along with the radio until you open a door like GM cars do. :roll:

my parents 06 grand does that....along with automatic up and down power windows :roll:

My 04 does that. I just wish if I hit the unlock button three times the windows would roll down or something like that. It might suck when its downpouring though LOL.

in my jetta u could roll the windows up and down from the out side by sticking the key into the driver door then turning and hold!!!
