I'm thinking of getting a set and was wondering how hard they are to install? I know they come with everything but you still need to go through the firewall and that scares me...

There are already holes in the firewall. Just find a spot where some of the stock wires already go through and fish yours through there.

As stated, u can fish thru the existing hole or u can get the remote wireless switches available so u don't have to fish wire and it has a keyfob u can take outta the KJ and turn on remotely

Nothing to it. I just put on rear driving lights and getting the wires through was the easiest part of the whole install. Pop out the existing plug under the dash, bend a tight hook in the end of a straight piece of coathanger around your wires and push em through. Run around to the engine compartment and pull it right through! Only gotta pull off one piece of trim under the dashboard footwell and the plug is right there. There is a post on it around here someplace.....

Heres a link to a post over on KJ Country where I show some dimensions for drilling thru the bumper (if thats what you're going to do). Couple of notes: 1) come out another 1/4 inch from the grille so you can have some room to tilt the lights to aim them; 2) make sure you use some silicon or other sealer on the metal before you mount the lights. When I took mine off to do some work on the front end I noticed some rust on the bare metal edges of the holes I drilled.
