Curious if any of you would be interested in larger brakes? I have been speaking with a Chris Bernal from Brake Pros and he said he could get some rolling if I had 20 interested takers and at least 10-12 FIRM buyers. No word on the price though. Just a thought. Thanks

Haven't even looked at it yet. But, if we can do it in a one-piece 330x30mm disc and a 4-piston AP Racing caliper, it will likely be in the $1600-1800 range. If we need to go to two-piece, it would come up to $2100-2300. It's impossible to know without measuring up the vehicle and doing brake balance calculations

darn, that sounds awesome. But I'd have to work on getting a supercharger first before I can get some 4 piston calipers in there.

I love the smell of fresh brake pads. :D

 IS that price for all four corners? Regardless, that is quite high and my current brakes work pretty darn good, especially when compared to my XJ. Maybe if I was road racing it I could justify that kind of brake upgrade but for wheeling I don't see the sense in it.

It would be nice ( as long as they are compatible with the KJs ABS, ESP, ect systems ). I know that if you add the Power Slot and Better Pads, your breaking will improve more than just a bit.

What would be nice is just some 4 piston calipers that would fit the stock rotors...to keep the cost reasonable.

I'd be interested in new brakes, but probably not for $2,000. With 265s my stopping distance has definitely decreased and I've been thinking about how to fix it.

Check this link, for some cheaper alternatives for bigger brakes.
Ie front pads or a lower center of gravity

Would the larger brakes work with stock wheels?

Should. The kj must already have good sized brakes since most 15in rims will not fit.
