I still have a problem with a humming sound in the front end. I really believe mine is coming from inside the right side of the differential. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a wheel bearing on the left side. From testing it myself I had a strong feeling that wasn't the case but, after paying them their rip off "troubleshooting" fee and enduring their speech on my lift, I took it home and changed the left side out myself (not a hard job). Guess what? sound is still there. Here is how I tested it:
Hear sound driving home, immediately lift each tire off the ground, one at a time and have son turn wheel while I layed underneath with a stethescope and hone in on the sound. Sound only occurred when right wheel was turned and left one was on the ground. Wheel bearing assy cost $155.00. The sound bothers me but I think I'm gonna take Quinns advice and wait to see if the sound gets louder, then repair it myself and install a trutrac while I'm in the differential. The dealers really piss me off. Ours suck in Salt Lake area. They are obviously just interested in the money, nothing else.
Next time I will follow my own troubleshooting ideas, they make you believe its magic or something, then give it to their teenage "mechanics" to jack it up for you.
