Test drove the JK, my Renny seems to have a little better get up and go but the JK is taller, wider and longer. Felt more road bumps in the JK

There is more room for rear cargo in the JK but the back seat passenger's leg space is seem a lot smaller than Libby's.

Oh and the Renny gets better gas mileage.

Really? I thought the 4door version was alot bigger than that? I think the wheel base is 117in.. The kjs is only 104, so the jk must have VERY short over hangs..

You felt more road bumps because of the solid axles. No way around it - that is why the KJ, WK/XK are all IFS. But the trade off of having a Wrangler is worth it.

I bet the JK doesn't have a yellow chalk circle on the Spare marking a hole. Makes it worth getting the JK right there......then again, when winter hits (if you live up North) and driving on the highway, you'll wish you had the KJ. Leg space in the rear seats is important if you take friends/parents places.

Just for comparison reasons, the "full sized jeeps", Grand Wagoneer & Cherokee, had a 109" wheelbase...

One of my 5 flats that I have had with the OEM tires. Ran over a Russian SKS Shell Casing on a gravel road and it "cookie cuttered" a nice hole in the tread...heard the hissing and felt the tire go flat before the EVIC picked it up that the tire had gone flat.

I tried using the fact that it's going to cost at least $750 to replace the worn out OEM tires and that the money would be better spent on a down payment on a new JK Rubicon but the wife wouldn't take the bait.

I commend you for your efforts!

The couple dealers near me that have them all have a $5k mark up. One dealer was so kind as to say he could work with me and bring it down to MSRP. Oh how kind of them!

You know it almost worked...sob story of having to replace all five worn out, dangerous to drive on, sliding in the rain OEM tires at $150 a piece but when she found out there was the possiblity of a new Jeep involved I got called on the tire price gouging.

Wow!! $150 a piece!! And SUCK to say the least! You can get tires off of tirerack that are good for $90 a pop, then pay between $50-80 for shippiing depending on the size of the tire..
