Woot!!!

Got my Libby.

Got me a 2004 4x4 Sport, solid black, with 28k mile. Just came off a private owner lease with all maintenance preformed at the dealer on interval (Only thing they seemed to have missed is.....you guessed it, ball joint recall, go figure). A little concerned about the color because as we know, black shows every ding, dent, scratch and piece of dirt around but could beat the deal anywhere so I guess sacrifices have to be made and to be honest, black is such a sharp color :)

I will try to get pictures up in a few days if I can figure out where to get them hosted and such.

B.

Well I am trying not to sweat the color but as luck would have it, I somehow managed to get a nice big crease dent on the side of my Libby somewhere between the lot and my house last night (Bought the car at 10pm so it was very dark). Went straight home, parked in my driveway and all that Woke up this morning the sun reflecting off that dent in a way only black can shine. Needless to say I was a bit bummed. Nice thing is, since I went straight home, parked in my driveway where it wasn't likely to damaged and all that, I meantion the dent to to dealer I bought it at and they were nice enough to concide that it could have happend on the lot and are going to have their dent guy (no body shop on the lot) do his best to take the dent out. Dent isn't a deal breaker but hopefully they can take a little bit of the pain of looking at it out of the equation.

Then again my good buddy has a theory/supersition. He says it is always a good idea to put a big dent in your car right away. He believes the dent is an indicator that the vehicle will be the most reliable vehicle you owned. Guess in a nutshell he believes if nothing is wrong with your car, then something will go wrong with your car. If that is the case, I knocked my issue out early and should get 150,000 trouble free miles now

That sucks, maybe the dent wizard can get it out. Stuff like that would bug me to death, I can't rest untill it's fixed, I'm funny that way.
