Just to be difficult...I think they would look nice under the bar...you just have to spin the lenses 180degrees to mount them upside down. I like driving lights to be a little lower than the headlights...personal preference.

As to distance apart, the closer together ones look nicer IMHO

Or if you had round lights you could mount them from the side on the black section of your bullbar...adjusting the lenses accordingly. That would look sweet 8)

So many places...So few lights...

I'm gonna agree with Walt, closer together and underneath the bar.

I'm going to go completely different and say further apart and on top, but move the bar down so that it is even with the bottom crossbars on the headlamp guards. Just my .02

I would agree with moving the bar down as well, but I think you used existing holes for that bar, and wouldnt want to drill any if you didnt have too.

There is a set of existing bolts lower, even with the round tubes of the brush guard. Gonna mock it up and see. The hole I used sits closer to the grill. The next one down, even with the chrome bars, sits a little further forward so the lights may be more prone to damage which is why I think I used the upper mount.
That's the one nice thing about this guard, it's an even 28.5 inches across inside from the top to the bottom so I can use any of like 4 positions w/existing screws.

Found these rubber plugs that fit perfect in 1/4" holes so I think I'm gonna drill all 4 holes so I can use either closer or further apart for the lights with a quick change (or add 2 more lights! :D ).

Can't mount these lights upside down though as there is a small drain hole on the bottom and I'd be afraid of water getting in.

To quote the Big Car monster..."wider is better"

I would go with the 2nd picture. it kinda looks cool with the small lights.

I'm gonna say under the bar and maybe a little wider, but not as wide as the 2nd pic.

Hope that isn't too vague.

Well since the bar is optional...I would get a matching round bar and make it look like it is one piece with the lower bar. Then you could mopunt them on top and close together ( not too close and not too far....Just right )

Bar's getting a coating of krinkle finish black to match the light's housings texture & make it more inobtrusive. I have angle iron handy so the round tubing wasn't really an option. I think with it black it really won't matter if it lines up with the lower tube.

Thanks for the opinions, I'm gonna look again at mounting it in that lower position. :D

D@mn! After looking at those I think I'll scrap the whole project because those 2 lights just look wimpy all of a sudden!!

Man! you could light up a runway with that last setup

After seeing the 5 on there I think it would actually look pretty good with 4. One in front of each of the 4 center slats. Then you would have the option of two different aiming directions.

Check your local laws and make sure you can either A, get away with 4 auxiliary lamps on the front without covers or B, can get covers for them. Most states have issues with uncovered lamps if they exceed the normal two lamp setup.

PLEASE make one that makes a "KJ" shape....or "L.O.S.T."

I think you are right...bigger lights that are round would look better asthetically I think.
