Post subject:  Seat Belt Chimes

I there a simple procedure for disabling the seat belt chime? I wouldn't think of driving anywhere but the compound where I live without seat belts, but several times a week I need to move the KJ from warm storage to the Main Lodge, a distance of about 1000 feet and when your all bundled up and no one is around it's a lot of noise for a 1 minute drive. Thanks

It says how in the manual, but I think you...

Put the seatbelt on, turn the key to the "Run" position, take the seatbelt off. Then put it on and take it off two more times (ending with it off) and turn the key off. You should get one chime telling you it's done right.

If that doesn't work, read the manual.

My owners manual says to do the buckle/unbuckle 3 or more times, more does not work it has to be only 3, at least for me
