So...my wife and I pick our 'big' present every year. She's either getting a dining room set or living room set the day after christmas---she wants to wait for the big sales. Here's my choices: 1. God computer...I would build this myself. I already have motherboard, HD, cd and dvd drives and other misc stuff. This would be cool new alien looking case, Intel core 2 duo chip, 2 gb ram (already have 2 gb's ready), 1 gb video card (pci express) etc....God computer for me anyway. 2. BFG AT/S. 3. Bull bar, magnaflow exhaust. I was all set to order my computer parts off of Tiger Direct until I saw Skyjump136's video of him playing in the snow. I had forgotten about my Libby until then. Now I don't know!! |

Personally I wouldn't waste my money on #3. the stock exhaust w/ a flowmaster works great and is cheap. I don't see any benefit to a Bull bar unless it is attached to a steel bumper. Sounds like it wouldn't take much to get the computer finished and then still have some $ left over toward a set of other than BFG AT's. |

Go for the computer parts and save the rest of the money for a lift. |

If you build the puter it will be outdated next year....fact of life.... Skip the BFG's Get yourself some General Grabber AT2's and use the money you saved on the BFG's for a rev-tek lift. |

There ya go. I love the AT2's. Didn't see a lift in your sig, so maybe you could squeeze a bit more cash into the present and get the Rusty's coil lift and Grabbers. You'd be set! 'Puters are cool too. You can totally get caught up if you want top of the line stuff. I've got a 3gig P4, 2G RAM, Radeon x1800st vid card, sata HDs in RAID 0, yada yada yada. Anyways, back to Jeeps. Get the Grabbers.........and the Rusty's kit!! I'm probably not that good of an influence, I know.... |

They would roar around 25-45mph.. Mine were the 255/70's so they were alittle wider.. The 245's may not be as loud. A bull bar is a nice touch to a jeep. Which one did you want? I wouldnt worry with the exhaust.. |

I had minimal (and I mean minimal) road noise between 30mph and 40mph. Nothing intolerable, and you pretty much had to make it a point to notice it. Can't wait to get them thrown on the steelies and back on the KJ! |

I am agreeing with the AT2 Generals, but I think they got the size wrong.Ive got 265/70/16 on my Libby and I have plenty of room. That way,at 90.00 a piece you will still have money left over for a Rustys spacer lift.My lift netted me 3.25 inches and if you install it right you wont have any of the problems that some on here say you will.Just my 2pennies. |

KJ04/JJsKJ....Long story short..For about 6 months thats all i read about on these forums was to stay away from ott lifts. Just about EVERYONE said struts will blow ,ubjs will hit springs,cv's will be at ridiculous angles etc.EVERYONE thought that if you didnt spend a millon dollars on your lift that it would come back to haunt you.Well guys i've been a auto tech for about 24 years and i say no matter how you lift ifs the change in geometry is gonna be in jepordy, but no more than wheelin it's self. With that said I was just wondering why EVERYONE says to stay away from them?Maybe they arent doing something right. And to respond to JJsKJ reply......You know that the mod bug will get you,and if your goin have to get new tires theres no since in buying 2 sets.So much for ...Long story short..Ha..Ha. |

What do you honestly do on your computer that you need 4 gb of ram? I used to get paid to play videogames lol and I never once had lag on this computer (which I built): Intel P4 3.2 GHz (oc to 3.4), 1 gb of pc 3200 ram and an BFG tech nvidia geforce 6800 gt overclocked from bfg that said .. I'm also rebuilding my computer this christmas: Intel core 2 duo, BFG GeForce 8800GTS 640MB PCI Express, 1 gb ddr2 800, 2 wd raptor sata hdds, asus mobo, soundblaster x-fi platinum and my personal favorite feature .. the coolermaster wavemaster case with a glass side window (as opposed to the plastic side windows my current cases have) why the 4 gb tho? what are you doin on that thing haha |
