do it right once & get the Boulder Bars :D I have them & install is easy just alot of drilling & if you can get a 90 degree power drill ( I think thats right) all your holes in the frame will be nice & straight

these will pay for themselves the first time you roll off a rock or get hung up on one saves your rocker panel

THESE THINGS ARE AWESOME :D

I was also thinking of the super sliders from rocky road...They also look pretty easy to install.

I bought mine from OSUKJ - they're the Rock Rails but I'd imagine they will be almost identical as far as installation goes. Once we get a really nice day here in Michigan (and I'm not being lazy) I'll get them installed and take some pictures of my efforts.

There are three types of rails out there that seem to be the best. Something to keep in mind is the number of mounting points. Rocky Road's only has two arms connecting to the subframe. All the ones below have at least three arms which helps prevent the bar from bending in the middle. They may seem like overkill to some but the first time you come down hard on them, they really pay off.

Boulder Bars by All J Products
Skink Sliders by Rock Lizard Fabrications
Not sure what they're called by Carolina Rock Shop (not sure of the details)

The RL skink sliders are 35# of steel each. I've used them hard and they have been outstanding. I would recommend at least looking at his product (nothing against the other two, I just love these skink sliders). Also, since they are coming from CO, the shipping would be less to IA.

Thought that I would update this thread for future searchers... I installed my Rock Rails today and took some pictures to document my efforts. The thread can be found here.

Enjoy!
