| Post subject: | Out of place rubber hose |
I was changing my oil this afternoon. I noticed a 1/2" OD rubber hose in the way of the new oil filter. One end of the hose is connected loosely to a nut on the wheel well under the battery. (This connection reminds me of a grounded electrical wire). It runs down in the way of the oil filter and seems to end right above the front differential. Does anyone know what the hose is, or whether it can be damaged from being in contact with a warm oil filter? |
