I just got back from my local muffler guy! KJ sounds good. He strongly advised against the Flowmasters (said it'd be the same price either way) because they tended to be really loud (even the 50 series) in the cabin. It sounds good at start up and you really don't hear it for normal driving...get up past 2000 rpms and it really sounds good. I was driving around in 39 degree weather with the windows down and getting the rpms around 4000...NICE!!!! It must sound good at coasting (I can't tell inside the cabin) because my wife heard me pull in the drive way and even she liked it!!!

Was wondering if: 1). You just cut-in a muffler or bought the entire cat-back kit? 2). If you got just the muffler, did you retain the cat flange or cut out that constriction too?

I need a lift because that's a far away as I could get and it's still looks like I am too close to the muffler
