So who plans on going to at least one Jamboree this year? I know this kid is trying to make 2 but will most likely only make one. Not sure which one it will be just yet, but I know I will be at one for sure. Anyone making plans to attend??

Hey Scott,
I would like to go again, but it depends on if I am going to be able to head out west this summer or fall. I was at the LBL jam last year and had a great time, other than a little rocker crunch both days. Met a lot of really nice people. I wouldn't mind going to that one again or maybe the Hot Springs or Ozarks jam.

Yea I was looking at the Ozarks, Hot Springs, Appalachian, Oak Ridge, and others...so many "close" ones that I'd like to do....

I got/had plans for 2 maby 3 but I missed out on the one I realy wanted to go to in Llano TX it sold out in like a week
I may or may not go to the one here at home if a few guys from this board go I may but I have run all the trails 10 or more time each ,in the TJ, cause 2 of them are a 75% no in a KJ the others are GREAT in a KJ not to hard not to easy

I WILL go back to the one in Murphy NC up at telico and I will ride in the same group as last year ,GREAT trail guides

I can not be sure with baby on the way but I do know that if I go I will be by my self so if any body wants to split a hotel let me know and if you have one in mind also let me know
I will drive 750 miles one way ,maby

If I were a rich man I would drive down to the one in San Felipe, baja Mex. that is the one closest to me. $1500 per person a little pricey though.

I was under the impression that the Jamborees were NOT run by DC, just started by a guy who was a Jeep enthusiast from way back who got DC's blessing to run the events. Camp Jeeps on the other hand are completely organized and run directly by DC.

I can tell you that it is the best money you will spend hands down ,if you truly love the jeep thing
I have met some of the best folks and made some good friends it has also opened up more options to wheel than I could ever think

and if you find ~$200 on 2 full days of fun then I would count out disney world for you too?
I have been to 4 and counting and I went to one with no jeep just to ride then bought 2 jeeps the following year and brought them both to the very next one I could

I hope to make Penn Woods, PA. Snowshoe I’m definitely going to (I have a score to settle with a certain tree  ). French Lick, IN is also a possibility.

Hey W3CSX your thinking Snoeshoe??...I wanted to go to that one so bad last year...just couldn't fit it in my summer schedule though
Maybe if I get enough funds or something I can make both Tellico and Snoeshoe...but I know I'll do Tellico first...

support? we spent almost $30,000 or more, on the vehicle and have to spend ridiculous amounts at the dealer to keep it running and they actually expect people to spent $1500 EACH?

thats just plain stupid
