Anyone knows if I can swap a 2003 center console with a newer one? the idea is to get the windows buttons on the flat surface rather then side mounted. Thanks! Marc |

Thats funny...I did the switcheroo the other way. A couple of observations... 1. The window control panel has to be the same. When I switched from an 05 to an 03 interior to get the black/cream combination, my passenger window would not work. I had to take the electronics out of the 05 and put them in the 03 console. The funny thing is "down" is now up and "up" is now down. Having it in the middle throws everyone for a loop anyway. This just adds to my S's and G's. 2. Everything lines up except for one screw. It is to the right of the gearshift, under the panel. It's no big deal, just a little bit looser but not noticeable at all unless you knew what you were looking for. It's a very easy swap and other than the two observations, everything went well. Good Luck! Dave |
