Got an '02 3.7 with the 45RFE tranny...and the stock radiator has sprung a leak. It's on the right side as you look at the car from the front...and from what I've read on here that seems to be a weak point! Going to take the opportunity to replace with a custom aluminium rad but I'm wondering about the tranny cooler.

I may have got this wrong but does the 45 RFE have a tranny cooler built in to the rad...whereas the 42RLE has a separate one bolted on the front? Is this correct? If so it might be easier to have a separate aluminium cooler built to complement the new rad rather than try to build it in.
