Yeah, so this is pretty cool, I got into LAX took the bus to dollar rental and was given the option of a PT cruiser convertable, a mustang convertable, or a jeep wrangler unlimited. Guess what I am driving for the next couple of hours... a green wrangler unlimited. It's not bad, but the A/C doesn't seem to work, and I miss the 6-speed gearbox of my libby, but hey, keep it in the family right? Anyways, for the record, dollar rental LAX has wranglers for rent for $33.00 per day. I'm out to go and see what I can see in the city... Tomorrow morning is back to the snow of Ohio. -Mark (I'll try and host a picture tonight) |

They have some nice places at the south point, on both volcanoes, and at one of the parks on the north edge. |

The river rd. entrance is now closed, but you can enter through Oak Tree campgrounds or through the Forbidden Zone campgrounds. |

How close to stock can wellsville be run anyway? I am bone stock, and doubt that I would be able to go out there, but just curious... How are the trails broken up? (Beginner, advanced etc?) -Mark |

I would of took the mustang if it was a gt,, I can drive a jeep any time and if I never drove one of those new ugly wranglers it would excite me any, I'm a 4.0 man ha ha. Wayne national forest in southern ohio has all kinds of trails, use to do the atv thing. The trails are marked in terms of difficulty and usally have a by-pass for the hard stuff, at least the atv trails did. |

No, I wouldn't venture down to Wellsville in stock form with low clearance and stock tires. I'm pretty well modified and have trouble at times keeping up with the Wranglers on 35's I wheel with, under certain conditions. No, the trails are not divided into groups, as the terrain is ever changing due to water errosion on the hills. What was passible this month may not be passible next month, and then storms down trees, which have to be cut at times or back track out to another trail branch. It gets really interesting at times and continues to be challenging, especially in wet conditions. At the present time, there is also logging going on which makes the trails even more interesting. |

Well, it's making up for it now, it's snowed for over a week with no end in site. I can't use the ranger or the kj to take feed back to the barn now because of rutting. |
