Has anyone installed an Amsoil BMK-13 dual remote by-pass system?

Have thought of it but not much room around the CRD. It would be a tight fit for me i dont know about the gasser tho.

I think there are several of us who are in the same tight boat. Many of us Jeepsters see the significant value of the dual remote filtration system, but we are having a hard time trying to locate the perfect spot :? . Naturally, I want to maintain the clearance, so a careful (protected) under hood mount would be my choice. I had a CRD before I traded it in for the 3.7 gasser, and I must agree, there was a big challenge for an under hood install. The gasoline version is a little more hopeful. I'll take some serious creative time today to evaluate my 2007, 3.7L and report back.

I have tried to find a place under the hood to mount a gulf coast bypass filter I have kicking around. Couldn't find any place on the Jeep it would fit except the hole where the winch goes in the ARB bumper. Every other spot is too small in my Liberty. Let me know what you come up with.

Well, I’ve checked, and then double checked for mounting locations. There is room on the upper passenger side fender (towards the firewall) and lower drivers side fender (towards the front of vehicle). Both locations in my opinion would be tight, inconvenient, and require skilled fabrication. I like the cleanliness of the engine compartment so I will decline to pursue the dual remote. I’ll stick with the Amsoil Series 2000 0W-30 oil and change it under a severe service of every 6 months or 15,000. I guarantee the 6 months will come way before the 15,000. But I like a clean motor and plan for this one to reach 300,000 miles.

Man I was hoping you'd find a location. I've got a brand new BMK-13 myself sitting in a box waiting for a spot that is still convenient and safe.
