I purchased a spare for my '02 from Autocraft. I think it was around $350, but it was quite a few years ago and I have a different PCM than you do. Make sure you get your VIN written to it, and if you have the keys with the security chip in them you have to get a dealership to program the keys to the PCM. Otherwise it will run for around 2 seconds and die. |

Maximum Carnage: Thanks for the help, but the PCM is not shown there. KY Liberty: I’ll till you my problem, as I don’t know what to do, because I want to program the PCM with B&G, but I don’t want to uninstall it out of my car. If you can help me, I’ll be very grateful. |

Did you mean you didn't want to uninstall it to send it to B&G and lose you jeep for a while? Does anybody know how long it would take/difficulties in pulling the PCM? Because if you pull it for a couple of minutes just to get the part number, the worst that should happen is that it will reset and have to relearn your driving habits (if there are other problems with that, somebody please correct me). If you can't find an answer any other way, the P/N should be on your pcm, like it is on most every other mopar part. |

You have 2 choices. You can pull the PCM from your Jeep, which isn't very hard. On mine, you just remove the battery so you can get to it. Unplug the wiring harnesses to it. Then there's a couple bolts holding the bracket for it in. Pull the bracket and remove the star head screws holding the PCM to the bracket. The 2003+ may be a little different, but shouldn't be difficult. Then send the PCM to B&G. Since you're overseas, it's going to take longer than overnight for the shipping each way though. The second choice is getting a spare PCM. That's what I did since mine was the first flash for the 3.7, so there was no way for them to turn it around in only one day, and I wasn't sure if it would work without sending it back for more modifications. I also didn't want any more down time if I made other modifications later that made it necessary to re-flash it. That method is what is listed in my previous post. Either way, you have to pull the PCM. |

Yes, because I am from Saudi Arabia, and shipping to US will take minimum 1 week, then another week to reach me. KY Liberty: Thanks for the help, I’ll try to pull it out over the weekend to see how the work will be, and I’ll use DHL to send it to B&G. |
