I put 20% on mine. To me it looks identical from the outside and only a slightly different tone (purple-ish) from the interior.
With out the tint was bothering me b/c the rear looked so dark.

I put 15% on my front windows. After I got pulled over 2 days ago and the cop measured it, it turned out to be 10.9%. Looked pretty good, it matched the back windows almost 100%. I'll post a picture in a minute. |

i have a 35% in the front and 5% in the rear looks real good |

I dont have any in the front as its illegal in NYS. As for the back--I just have what came with it when I bought it.

Fairly sure Ive got 15% on the front doors. I told them to match the rear.

depends on state laws to see how dark you can go. most places will do illegal tint. some places get huge sheets of tint and just slap it on there. other like the one I went to was a Sun-Gard Diamond Dealer, I thought tint was tint but these guys new everything about tint and how to match less of a shade to a darker color so the factory 20% in the back looks almost identical to the 35% up front. shop around, tint is not just tint. |

Im sure that the number only refers to how much light is transmitted threw the tint, so it could be higher or lower depending on who makes the tint. |
