Yes you can buy front LCA bushing separate. RockAuto shows MOOG Part # K7389 for $34.79

Are you planning on replacing yourself? If so add a about $100-$150 in special tools needed to replace them,a dealer will rip you off(they wanted $1380 to replace mine). Those bushings are in there really good and I imagine trying to put the new ones in will be just as hard.I just got whole new LCA's with all 3 bushings installed already, did the work myself(with some friends from L.O.S.T. Rockies) and with the alignment ran me about $500.

Pulled right out of a '02 service manual(will be the same for all years),you will need Miller special tools-8858-5,8858-6,and 8839 to remove and install the LCA bushings.

I recently took my KJ in for the LBJ recall, and they told me my LCA bushings were shot, too. They wanted $1000, I laughed and knew I'd find a better solution here on the forums. I did post my own topic on it, and tjkj2002 told me the bad news. I saw the bushings online, so cheap, yet a pain to install. I'm going to order the new LCAs w/bushings in a week or so. I just hope I don't mess anything up till then. Does anyone know what bad bushings do? I know my handling seems to have diminished slightly, and the noise is terrible...but anything else? Is it "unsafe"? Obviously you want to keep everything in tip-top shape on the Jeep, but I don't even have the money to worry about it right now.

It really sucks I know,I got duped in buying new lower clevis bushings and couldn't even budge them(soaked with PB Blaster for 36 hours). Then the other LCA bushings started to make some awful noises to,didn't want to spend the money for all the special tools or have a dealer do it so forked over the cash to get the new LCA's.Glad I did,the KJ rides 1000% better now.If it one thing it's another, cheap parts(not as in cheaply made, just they don't cost alot)=expensive labor and or special tools.Just didn't want anybody buying parts that need alot of special tools to replace then end up buying the next larger component that has the other one already installed, thus buying the stupid thing twice!

Thanks for the info once again, I almost got those bushings a few minutes before you posted about the special tools in the topic I started a week or so ago.

OT:
I'm excited to replace my LCAs, I'm gonna have to copy you with the paint job....but with what color should I go with on a silver KJ? I was thinking yellow..? I swear, the only colors that seem to match are black and shades of silver and gray.

You still got these lower clevis bushings? You want to sell them? I'm dong them, lower control arm bushings, and a rusty's coil lift this summer. The bushings can't be that hard to do. I can't afford $400 for lower control arms. Plus i'm strapped for cash being the best man in my brothers wedding. I plan to air hammer them out and press them in. My old bmw had these type bushings in the rear subframe same type of set up. I rigged up a tool out of plumming parts from home depot, pressed them in with no problem. Getting them out was a little tough though..BMW wanted $250 for the tool.
