| Post subject: | Clear Front Turn Signals |
I've been thinking about getting the clear front turn signals from eBay soon, but was wondering if anyone on here has installed them already. A picture would be great if anybody has, but if you don't have a pic, could you let me know what you think of them? Also, where did you get them from? eBay (which user)? online? Thanks |

Yea, I saw a picture of them and they looked good, and I was wondering if they were legal in New York as I thought they had to be amber. So if I understand this right, if you put in amber bulbs, it is legal??? |

I believe its ok to have the clear signals, but the bulbs should be amber. Mine are and ive never had any problems. |

I got mine around a month ago off of Ebay & love them. I went through Kazespeed they arrived within a few days but they sent me 2 L ones instead of 1 L 1 R. SO I had to ship it back and they resent me the correct lens. They were really nice about it and its not like I was in a hurry or anything for the new lights, it was just a bit of an annoyance. My bf installed them in minutes and I havent had a problem with police since I have the amber bulbs. In fact, unless its during the day and I dont have my markers on, you cant even tell that theyre clear since the bulbs light them up amber. Also, I opted for the black/clear vs all clear since my Libby is black. But thats me that was like 2 weeks ago
that was the night they were installed--see what I mean about not even really knowing that theyre clear?
hope that helped (haha I just noticed when I previewed this post that I cleared my LP# in one pic and not the other. Oh well |

Thanks for the responses everyone. Just one more question. I want to go ahead and get the clear signals, but want to make sure it is legal in NC. Does anyone know if they are or some way to find out? I've been trying to Google it with no luck. |

its legal in NC as long as the bulb is amber. The law refers to illumination....there are two ways to do that, white bulb with amber lens (stock) or amber bulb with clear lens. As long as it lights up amber, no problems.... |

I put in Sylvania Silverstars that appear bluish/clear but lit up amber so as not to see a big orange blob in the middle of the lens in daylight. |
